DHSA Halloween Party a “Screaming” Success!

More than ninety costumed kiddies and adults attended DHSA’s Halloween party on October 31, 2011 at the Lake Hazel Branch Library in Boise. Games and activities included “eyeball golf,” face painting, “booling” (bowling), a Monster Launch sling-shot, and my personal favorite—a mystery substance booth where folks stuck their hands into boxes of gunk or goo to determine if it was sliced skin of newt, werewolf hair, or swamp slime! Rounding out the fun were puzzles, crafts, popcorn, candy, cookies, and some darling Frankenstein Rice Krispy treats! We thank Melodi Kallmeyer for coordinating this “spooktacular” event, and also the teens and parents who manned booths and games and helped with clean up!
