History Fair 

Tuesday, March 11th

1:30-3:00 PM at the Boise Veteran's Home: 320 N Collins Rd, Boise, ID 83702

Come show the Veterans what you’re learning about American or World history! Bring a display, diorama, or dress-up and let the kids share their knowledge of history with some great people!

PLEASE RSVP  by email to LytleMomma@gmail.com to let us know how many of your kiddos will be participating and what they are doing. ALSO, if they need table space and if they would like a speaking time. Please keep presentations to 2-3 minutes. You are also very welcome to have a group of kids present together.

The Veterans Home loved having us last year and I am looking forward to another amazing History Fair this year!

Field Trip: World Center for Birds of Prey

The World Center for Birds of Prey is offering two “homeschoolers only” tour and presentation days this year. Please join us on either or both of these days! If you plan to attend, please call the Center at 362-8260 to sign up so they so they can plan for adequate staffing.  If you commit to attend, PLEASE follow through, or find someone to go in your place if you cannot make it.  Admission: $3.00 per person. Live bird presentations are listed in the attachment below!

Teen Activity: Movie Night!

March 14th, 7-10pm

We will be doing a movie night and will be voting between these movies: Princess Bride, Avengers, Despicable Me 2 or Tangled. Be sure to bring a treat to share and something comfortable to sit on. (Please see the FB page/check your e-mail for location.)

Treasure Valley Commonwealth has openings for spring semester.

Wednesdays - 9:45 - 3

The Journey church, near Overland and Maple Grove
TVC is run as a co-op, inspired by TJED or Leadership Education principles. Parents take turns teaching classes for kids of all ages, newborn to age 18.

Information meetings held each Wednesday in March at the Georgeson home, also near Overland and Maple Grove. 10:30 - 11-30, or 1:30 - 3. Contact Nancy attjed.treasurevalley@gmail.com for address. Children welcome.

The 2nd Annual Idaho Leadership Education Mothers Retreat Thursday, May 15 - Saturday, May 17, 2014

All homeschooling moms are welcome! We will have a book discussion on Thursday evening and two presentations during the weekend to help you in your family and home. We will have plenty of time for relaxing and chatting as well. Moms only. New this year: A demonstration of sourdough baking!

Where: A cabin in McCall, Idaho  Cost: Early Registration is $65.00 by April 1st. Late Registration is $80.00 after April 1st. The price includes meals and lodging.
